Fancy Large Mother’s Day box.  3 of the 6 items are repeats from the Mystery Boxes.  Are you kidding me?  This box is very disappointing. To me, these boxes show very little thought or energy on the part of Fancy.  Nothing says lose a customer like a $79 box with approximately $20 in shipping full of junk sent to my MOM for  Mother’s Day.  There were so many cute new things under the Mother’s Day gifts section.  A rehash of old items in the mystery Boxes is one thing, but in this box?  If you consider that many of the people who subscribe to boxes are the same ones buying the specialty boxes, how many sets of red and black nail lacquer does anyone need?  Apparently, no one thought this out very well from a customer service perspective, just a “let’s empty the warehouse of unsold (for a reason) goods.”  My comment on Fancy that the box was disappointing was quickly deleted.  Yet my email about a broken chain on a necklace in the Mystery Box has never been answered.  I don’t know what is going on at Fancy, they were much better before, now they appear to need to get their act together.  There is such potential at Fancy.  It is just hard to see it at the moment.  Hopefully, it is just growing pains and everything will iron itself out.

The new:

MENU DECANTING POURER.  For decanting and oxidizing wine.  Nice idea, not thrilled that it is plastic.

JAPONESQUE SAFARI CHIC BRUSH SET.  3 piece makeup brushes handmade of synthetic hair.

LUMO SILVER BAR NECKLACE.  Very petite and short chained.  Lovely, but really a piece for a little girl or preteen.

 

On the good side the fancy value of this box comes to almost $160.  If you have never purchased a Fancy box it will all be new to you. The tilting cup is really useful and cute.  The cuticle balm is fantastic. The clutch nicely made.
